Full time position. Doing office work, maintaining the office and the shop area. I have built this 10,000 ft. 16 lift European Auto Repair shop from the ground up. And have seen and heard it all. I need a right hand man/woman. I'm as reasonable as can be expected but I miss nothing and see through lies like a window. We need someone who is energetic, organized, focused, punctual, and has concern for their work. Someone with a good work ethic that stays busy. It's a fast paced shop. That gets very busy, very fast. I handle 95% of customer relations so that's not in the wheelhouse of this position. Job duties. Estimating and invoicing auto repair work. Taking in/writing up vehicles coming in for service. Ordering and returning auto parts. Keeping track of and organizing everything in and out of the office. Keep in the shop, office clean including bathrooms. Running errands, Dropping off vehicles and customers. Organizing the shop, under and on top of the work benches, keeping the whole place, clean and organized .Maintaining and organizing, all scrap, metal, cores, and parts. Pumping waste oil and maintaining the Waste Oil heater. Taking the garbage out. Doing very light auto repair, work, such as oil changes which get done with machines so no lifting the vehicle. Changing lightbulbs. Fixing flats. Mounting tires. Chores listed above are about half the stuff that I do as the owner. I need somebody who doesn't need to be told what to do every minute. A self starter who is motivated and gets the big picture. I'm not looking for a Retired shop owner to sit in my office and talk to customers all day. Nor am I looking for a wanna be a mechanic who talks to the techs all day. It's a very comfortable, no ego atmosphere. We all work together as a team. And we need the right player to fit in. Financially, It can be a lot more rewarding of a position than a typical shop helpers position . That is IF the right person can handle the position. Please do not underestimate this position.
