Duties and tasks include:
Overseeing all activities of the dining room floor, including all parameters of the guests' experience (e.
g.
, room temperature, lighting, and overall appearance of the restaurant/ Catered Events).
Anticipate guests' needs, assessing complaints and feedback to continuously strive for better service through vigorous training procedures.
Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
Confer with dining room staff to ensure guests are receiving prompt and courteous service.
Finalize catering event menus and details Schedule staff for both catering and restaurant cohesively Desired Skills & Experience A minimum of two years' experience working in a catering venue Desire and dedication to offer impeccable dining service Organization and multi-tasking skills Strong attention to detail Enthusiastic and outgoing demeanor Knowledge of principles and processes for providing guest services, including customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction, knowledge of executing private events with a focus on wedding receptions.
Ability to work as a team player Stamina to stand for long periods of time, including walking up and down stairs Physical ability to lift trays of food, glasses and other objects that might be a part of daily duties.
