Modern office NYS licensed optometrist State of the art equipment Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Optometrist located in Freeport, NY.
The Optometrist will conduct eye exams diagnose vision problems prescribe eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other corrective devices medical co-management, cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic issues medical treatment for routine eye problems The Optometrist will also communicate with patients about eye health, educate them on proper eye care, and make referrals to specialists when necessary.
Qualifications Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited school of optometry Licensed to practice optometry in New York State Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to educate patients on proper eye care and answer any questions regarding diagnosis and treatment plans Experience with prescription writing and filing Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment Bilingual English/Spanish very helpful Job Types:
