We are searching for experienced Massage Therapists to join our growing team.
The ideal candidates will have experience rendering therapeutic deep and superficial pressure lymphatic massages and will be able to work with a variety of people, including pregnant women and those with disabilities.
The Massage Therapists will also be responsible for answering questions about massage-related topics, suggesting future appointment cadence for clients and maintaining the inventory of supplies.
The ideal candidate will have a background in the field of massage therapy, as well as excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Responsibilities:
o Client building relations, retention and communications skills are required from each practitioner.
o Detailed upkeep and maintenance of well anointed treatment rooms.
o Communication via smartphone vital for in-house Square Appointments platform and client SOAP notes as well as with other staff vital in all aspects.
o Ability to assess contraindication and recommend appropriate post stretches and referrals as well as memorable bedside manners required.
o Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTSo Completed 1000 or more hours of massage therapy courses.
o Must hold current New York State massage therapy license and registration.
o Must have massage liability insurance.
o Strong interpersonal communication skills.
o Time management abilities for 30min, 60min, 75min and 90min treatment sessions.
o Demonstrated sales of massage-related services and customer service skills.
o Excellent skill in classic Swedish, Deep Tissue, Lymphatic or orthopedic applications, prenatal massage acupressure/ischemic compression techniques, and how to modify to meet individual patient pressure-preferences.
o Flexible and available to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.

o Regularly required to stand or for prolonged periods of time.
o Regularly self maintain optimal health for committed and attendance.
